The LAV-25 is the baseline light armored vehicle of the US Marine Corps.  The reliable 25mm Bushmaster gun is identical to the one mounted in the US Army M2 Bradley.  While seaworthy, LAV-25s are usually transported into the beachhead area and then used for fire support and reconnaissance duties.
